I want to talk to you about what coaching is today. There are so many people out there who refer to themselves as a coach because coaching is a profession, which is not regulated yet. You don't need to go to a school to become a coach. But instead, what we have today is the institution called ICF. ICF stands for International Coaching Federation, and that is the place where you get approved, where you get certified at the highest levels of your coaching competencies so that you can go out there
present yourself as a professional coach.
According to ICF, the definition of coaching is partnering up with a client in a thought-provoking way, and also a creative process that inspires people to maximize their personal and professional potential. What it means is you as a coach, you need to have incredible levels of coaching skills. That way, you're able to help someone to maximize their own potential. Obviously, it's about communication. It's about leadership and it is about unlocking your potential. As an ICF approved coach trainer, I have7 days of certification training, where you are not only certified as an NLP practitioner and master practitioner. But you're also certified as a coach, and a professional coach. Coaching is not only a profession that is going to enable you to make a difference for others and get paid for it. The best part of coaching. If you ask my opinion, it is that you become your own coach. Once you go through the training, once you understand the psychology behind human behaviors, the needs, the values, the expectations, the personality, how the brain works, what about the language, how it dictates your reality, how can you remove your limiting beliefs? How can you bust your assumptions? Once you understand and integrate these skills into your everyday life, game over. You are a winner. For the rest of your life. And that's why coaching is a great way to approach yourself for becoming more and achieving more because you will have this 24-hour coach within you, which is you. Who is also able to make a difference for others.
Since 2011, I have been training a lot of coaches in the world. And the best result, the
the best outcome, the biggest benefit, you're going to get out of becoming a coach is that you're going to have your mentor within you.
