Hello Everyone, my name is Shiny Burcu Unsal I am the proud creator of Neuro-Shine technology, an ICF master certified coach, an ICF accredited coach trainer and a licensed trainer of Neuro Linguistic Programming. I am coming to you today as an ICF accredited coaching education provider. I get this question asked all the time SHINY WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ICF ACCREDITATION LEVELS? As a professional coach? Why should I care about my ICF accreditation? And why should I go from one level to the other? Explain to me” I've been teaching coaching and certifying coaches and practitioners of Neuro-Linguistic Programming since 2011. Based on my 11 years of experience, I want to share with you why you want to get not only your certification as a coach but your ICF accreditation as a coach, and I'll also cover the 3 levels of coaching certifications by the International Coaching Federation. If you're ready, let's go. Level 1, the first level of your ICF accreditation as a coach is called “ASSOCIATE CERTIFIED COACH” or ACC. ACC means that you have gone through 60 hours, minimum 60 hours of coach specific training that is approved by ICF by the international coaching Federation. And you have also collected 100 hours of coaching experience. And you had 10 hours of mentor coaching with somebody who already holds an ICF credential. And of course, you pass the three-hour test that ICF sent you. That's the knowledge assessment test. And then you also have proven your coaching skills by recording a coaching session that you have done with your clients. That's what ACC meets and ACC is the very first level of your coaching accreditation as a certified coach Level 2 “Professional Certified Coach”, or PCC, PCC means that you have gone through 125 hours of code specific training, not 60. ACC was only 60 hours of coach specific training. PCC requires minimum 125 hours of training. And it also requires 500 hours of your coaching experience. And again, you got to have your mentor coaching sessions, you've got to pass the task and you got to also pass the evaluation. Oh, your recorded session. And of course, you need to graduate from an ICF accredited coaching, education. Level 3, this is the highest level and that's what you see right behind me. Well, yes, I am a proud master certified coach by the international coaching Federation. MCC means that we have gone through a minimum of 200 hours of coach specific training with an ICF accredited coaching education program. And we have collected more than 2500 hours of coaching experience. Yep, you heard me right. As a matter of fact, my coaching experience actually exceeds 3000 hours, of course pass all these levels of ACC PCC with different levels of mentor coaching sessions and we have passed the test and we have proven our coaching skills, read a recorded coaching session. That's what it means. So why do you care about these differences? Like why do you care about ACC PCC MCC? Why should you get your ICF accreditation as a coach? Here's the simple answer. If you want to go to a hospital, you want the doctor to have graduated from a university, right? You want your doctor to hold a degree so that you can rely on Him you can rely on his skills, his knowledge is the ability to help you go through whatever to help problem that you're going through. Right? That's the same thing when you are working with a coach. And let me tell you this coaching to me, is the highest level of communication skills one human being can have. Why do I say that? Because coaching requires so many levels of training, that's mental training, mindset training, language training, listening skills, presents, asking questions, understanding someone acknowledging them, and then creating accountability, cultivating trust, giving the person some space for their emotions, and holding them accountable supporting them for their growth. It comes with so many levels of trainings, and so many levels of skills. And that's why when you work with a coach, you are basically working with an invisible neurosurgeon. Yeah, I know, I'm just laying making a big statement here. But I really mean it. Why? Because if you work with a coach who does not understand the neuroscience, the psychology, the hard science, deem neuro linguistic programming and you know, practical tools of making somebody feel better, then you're not doing yourself a good job, you are actually relying on somebody who believe this that, you know, they have the ability, but they have not gone through the specific training that is required, the specific exams, testing their ability. And so, you are kind of taking a risk. Why do I say neurosurgeon, because when you work with a coach, when you open up, you are literally opening up your emotions? So those are very deep levels in your nervous system. And if you look at it from the neuroscience perspective, the emotional part of your brain, your limbic system is so ingrained in your everyday activities in your everyday behaviors and your language patterns that is so hard for you to move forward with your life without really truly understanding it, and integrating what happens in it. So only a very well trained, certified and accredited ICF accredited coach can help you recognize your own patterns, and to achieve your goals and years of ascension. Coaching is not therapy. Coaching does not take you back to your childhood so that you can heal your wounds. Coaching takes you as a whole and complete and resourceful individual. And coaching helps you understand what works for you so that you can put all of those working parts together so that you can move forward to become more and achieve more in your life.
