You Can Do Better!

My mom is a teacher. So naturally she taught me a lot. Especially installing me the belief that "I can do better". ✅ I remember when I was 10 years old (6th grade), I got 6 out of 10 from my geography class, and of course she freaked out!😲 Being a teacher 👩🏻‍🏫 herself, she expected her kids to do better, right? So she decided to tutor me and teach me geography for weeks, so that I could do better and ideally get 10! 😉 So I studied hard with her help and yes, got my 10 next time! And I did so well later on that, I also got selected to represent my school in regional competitions and finished my high school as a valedictorian in my field!📚🎓 🥇

And the best part is I also got the belief and a sense of "confidence" that it's just a matter of having a bigger ambition in life that I could always do better. That belief still is a big component of my mental attitude today. So thank you mommy, Günsel Yalnız Ünsal for shaping my shiny & happy success strategies. It feels fantastic that we get to celebrate the results of your high ambitions, both as a mother and a teacher, today!
