What Is Coaching?
Jul 22, 2021There are so many people out there who are referring themselves as a coach. Because coaching is a profession which is not regulated yet. You don't need to go to a school to become a coach.
But instead what we have today is the institution called ICF. ICF stands for International Coaching Federation and that is the place where you get approved, where you get certified at the highest levels of your coaching competencies so that you can go out there, present yourself as a professional coach.
According to ICF, the definition of coaching is: partnering up with a client in a thought-provoking and also a creative process that inspires people to maximize their personal and professional potential.
