Confidence is such a fluffy word, isn't it? It can mean anything to anyone. And yet we still struggle, sometimes, to boost it, to have it more.
We are always looking for more ways to be more confident.
As someone who is in the field of emotional intelligence, positive psychology and personal development for almost a decade now, my clients from all over the world ask me the same question over and over again: "Shiny, how can I have more confidence?"
And that's why I've prepared this video for you today, because I have some ideas!
1. EDUCATE YOURSELF
I was born and raised in a small Mediterranean coastal town in Turkey. And I am here with you today, doing this video and sharing my content with you because I educated myself.
I invested my time, money, energy, mind, and mental space in learning. And that's how it helped me. I learned about everything. And educating yourself these days is the easiest thing.
Go to YouTube, subscribe to my channel. You're going to learn a lot. Learn from other experts. Go, Google it, Go, YouTube today, get some information, and when you educate yourself, you'll feel this immediate boost in your confidence because knowing is confidence.
2. MENTALLY AND EMOTIONALLY EMPOWER YOURSELF
Confidence is having that internal power within you and knowing that you will be all right. You will have your answers, certainty, conviction, and clarity.
When you have confidence, it shows up in the way you talk, the way you walk, the way your body language speaks to others, and the way your energy radiates. It's in you, you cannot hide it, you cannot escape from it and it is because it's a mechanical system. Your whole being, your mind, heart, soul, and organs, they all come together and they give you this “yes. I know it message”. And when you have that, "I know it message inside", that gives you power, and that power gives you confidence. When I tell you, mentally and emotionally empower yourself, I'm talking about something specific.
Imagine with me, you have lived a certain life and you have accomplished certain things in this life, correct? So, when you take the time to mentally rehearse, all of your accomplishments, all of your awesomeness, all of the challenges you have been through all the struggles that didn't kill you but made you stronger. Think about all of them. Starting from your childhood, I got goosebumps myself, that is mental empowerment. And here is how emotional empowerment looks like.
When you look in the mirror and talk to your beautiful self and you say Shiny, I got you, I'm here for you. I am going to support you to follow your dreams. To chase your wildest dreams. I'm here with you forever and ever. That is going to give you some emotional empowerment, isn't it? Try it and you'll see for yourself.
3. PRACTICE FLOW MINDSET
When you're in the flow, you simply glow. Why? Because a flow mindset is unattached from anything. It doesn't force things to come true. It just allows the universe. Allows nature, and allows life to co-create. So, we knew it has a flow mindset. You know what you do? You don't resist. There's a challenge, you're okay. If there's a rejection you like, I'll handle it. There's a problem like I got this. And there is a real, real big problem and you like I have faith.
I'm sure life is choosing that for me because it is good for me. If it is not good for me. Maybe life is protecting me from something even more dangerous. When you have that kind of strong flow mindset, you will be unshakable, unbreakable, and you will boost your confidence, my friends.
So, I hope these three strategies help you. I hope you're going to boost your confidence every day, with these ones.
